Two petty criminals (Gil Bellows and Renee Zellweger) in love and on the road to blissful trailer park marriage are caught in the middle of a theft gone wrong. Accused of a murder that was perpetrated by a lunatic speed-freak friend, the two go on the run from the law, encountering bizarre happenings along the way. Love and a .45 is a Bonnie & Clyde story for Gen X.

I love to go back and watch movies that acclaimed actors did when they were younger. There's something enchanting about seeing someone who's now famous back in a time when they had nothing. A period when they were hungry. Sometimes what you see is a stomach churning display of desperation. Sometimes you catch that magic....
