10 year old Arthur must embark on a treasure hunting adventure when he learns that his grandparents are going to lose their home to a real estate developer. He travels to the land of the Minimoys which are incredibly small creatures that inhabit the area that the treasure is located. Along the way Arthur meets Princess Selenia and her brother Betameche which join Arthur on the adventure to find the hidden treasure. (read more)

There were people snickering behind their hands when this movie was announced, those who were laughing at the fact that Madonna was involved in it and dismissing it automatically due to that fact. I remembered that she was in the cast only after the movie was over. At some point in the month that my Midget was pestering me...
