Home of the Brave (2007)

Oscar-winning producer Irwin Winkler (Rocky) takes the director's seat for this drama about three American soldiers trying to adjust to life after Iraq. Samuel L. Jackson stars as a doctor who returns to his practice only to find his life unraveling, and Eva Mendes portrays the wife who's overjoyed to see him but disturbed to find he isn't the man she knew before the war. Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci, 50 Cent and Brian Presley co-star.

To be honest, I ended up falling asleep toward the last 20 minutes of the movie or so. But it's really not all that important that I watched that time of the film since we've seen these types of poor-me stories from multiple angles about vets coming back from the war.

Home of the brave received everything BUT stellar reviews from the critics. Add to that bringing in only $250,369 (yes that's two hundred and fifty thousand dollars) WORLDWIDE at the box office and most people would laugh thinking that this was an utter failure.
I must say I truly believe that people are not liking this...
