Blood Diamond (2006)

Set during Sierra Leone's bloody civil war in 1999, this thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Danny Archer, a smuggler who sells "blood" diamonds used to finance terrorists. When Archer meets a local fisherman (Djimon Hounsou) whose son has been forced into a child army, the two men's lives become intertwined, and they set off on an adventure that leads them through the world's major diamond centers. DiCaprio and Hounsou earned Oscar nods for their performances.

I just watched this movie of On Demad, and it was really good. I thought the movie was going to be dumb, boring and very unrealistic. Instead its filled with action,emotion and the reality of whats happening in Africa.

I have never been a 'huge' fan of Leonardo DiCaprio. Something about every one of his performances seems so calculated and unnatural. Yes, I realize every actor is 'acting', but DiCaprio always seems like he is acting and is unable to take it that extra step and make it more believable.
