Apocalypto (2006)

Before going to see this movie I thought for weeks as to whether I should support Mel Gibson or not. I don't know whether or not Mel Gibson is actually an anti-semite or is guilty of many of the things he is accused of such as alcoholism. There is one thing I do know for sure... he is a filmmaker and I will not judge him...

Apocalypto is a nice change to the normal films that have been coming out for the last 15 months. We use to have several films like Dances With Wolves or Tears of the Sun that show what damage can be done to cultures.
