'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning' is saved almost entirely by R Lee Ermey, whose performance is so delightfully twisted that it sort of makes everything else watchable. I saw this movie in the theatres with a friend of mine, and I thought it was pretty good. It had the violence, frights and some disgusting scenes. I saw the unrated one when it came on DVD, and loved it. I thought that Jonathan Liebesman did a good job with showing how leatherface was brought up and lived.
