The Wicker Man (2006)
description written by member Tim:
A remake of the 1973 British horror thriller, Nicolas Cage plays a sheriff who is experiencing emotional distress after he could not save a child from a burning car. He receives a letter in the mail from his ex-fiance asking for him to help him find her child who has vanished off a secluded island. After arriving he realizes that the island people are very strange and he quickly assumes that something evil is going on around the island.

Well, I am going to go waaay out on a limb here and recommend that you watch this movie. The title seems familiar to me, so it must be that I saw the original, but I do not remember it, so I am judging this remake entirely on its own.
It is a strange movie as most people are unfamiliar with alternative religions;...

I just watched this movie last night and it was a trip. I actually watched the unrated version that, I guess, had a twisted alternate ending...and I couldn't select an ending it was only the alternate ending, I guess. Anyway it was wierd.
Nicolas Cage plays a cop that decides to take some time off after not being able to...

This would have been one of the best movies of all time if they would have just cut through the pretense of trying to be so creepy and just made it into a comedy. I'm not sure when it happened, but Nicolas Cage forgot how to act somewhere along the line. But, that's why this movie works. Terrible acting and even worse...

I read the best thing ever about this movie, Imagine the worst movie you've ever seen, and realize that this movie is worse....ha ha
Seriously, unless you can get it for free, and your seriously drunk, dont watch it. And if you insist on watching it, drink a lot, I mean, like more than you ever have before.
