Snakes on a Plane (2006)
Samuel L. Jackson stars in the intense action feature Snakes On A Plane from director David Ellis (Final Destination 2, Cellular). Jackson plays an FBI agent who is escorting a witness on a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles when an assassin releases hundreds of deadly snakes on a commercial airplane in order to eliminate the witness. The FBI agent, along with a rookie pilot, frightened crew and passengers must then band together in a desperate attempt to survive. (read more)

How could you go wrong with such a simple premise right? It's like chocolate and peanut butter, milk and cereal, toast and jam, Captain and Tennille, Batman and Robin (well maybe not that last one.) The point is you can take two ingredients for disaster movies and combine them into what should be cinematic gold right? Well...

This movie had an enormous amount of hype, which it could not possibly hope to live up to, but I found it to be wildly creative and superbly entertaining, though the basic premise I find unsettling, since I do not like snakes, and would be paralyzed with fright if I were confined to a small space with dozens of them,...

This movie was a pleasant surprise. Sfter all the negatives, I wasn't expecting anything this good. I just wanted to see it because of all the internet hypeit got before it's release. I should have guessed that there would be a bite on the big bare t*t, and when the dude was taking a p*ss, you just knew it was going to get...

There was such a big hype for this movie before it was even released. The trailer was leaked on the internet and all the virginal dorks went apesh*t over it. People started quoting the main line (delivered so late in the movie I'd almost thought it'd been cut out) and drawing up t-shirts months before it hit theaters.

"Snakes on a Plane" should've been released at the beginning of the summer, providing the lackluster season with the jumpstart it needed. "Snakes" is The Summer Movie of the summer, a fun ride, filled with thrills, scares, laughs, fun dialogue and good action.
Samuel L. Jackson reportedly jumped at the chance to headline...
