Writer-director Ed Burns returns to the successful format he employed in The Brothers McMullen, She's the One and Sidewalks of New York to tell the story of an Irish-American groom-to-be (Burns) and his four 30-something groomsmen (Jay Mohr, Donal Logue, John Leguizamo and Matthew Lillard), who use the week before the wedding to reflect on the end of their prolonged adolescence.
