Superman Returns (2006)
Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic action-adventure, Superman Returns, a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the world's most beloved superheroes. Why-Oh-Why does Superman have to have this sick (Yes! Sick!) infatuation-thing for frickin' Lois Lane? Eh? Why?
I mean, C'mon, already!
Am I the only one who's noticed that there's definitely something not quite right about Superman's crush on Lois Lane? Am I? In my opinion, this 'enchantment' goes far beyond anything...

flying, statistically speaking, it's still the safest way to travel. That is just one of many examples on how Bryan Singer paid homage to the original 2 Superman movies. The downside to that is that he did very little that was new. I can't say I blame him for this; in fact I might have done the same thing in his position....

I am not a Superman fan, which is why I've taken so long to get around to this film. Since it's release, I have probably watched Batman and Spiderman several times each. So don't talk about the best Superman movies, as I am not interested. I look at this on its own merits.
First, I was immediately grabbed by the titles....

Pretty big boots to fill, to say the least. Richard Donner's 1978 film Superman has often been cited as the archetypal vision of the Man of Steel, with Christopher Reeve setting a benchmark for superhero acting. While no production company or director has been brave enough to bring the Superman ethos back to the big screen...
