Cars 2006

Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson), a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters –including Sally (a snazzy 2002 Porsche voiced by Bonnie Hunt), Doc Hudson (a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a mysterious past, voiced by Paul Newman), and Mater (a rusty but trusty tow truck voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) – who help him realize that there are more important things than trophies, fame and sponsorship. Cars Movie Review by Xavier (4/12/2007)

I've been looking for feelgood movies all week and I stumbled across CARS. Why had I not seen it sooner? I love all this Pixar stuff and it always puts a smile on my face. It is of course pretty much the same story, the same platitudes and morals, but it's OK, it's got cars speaking and stuff! Another solid film with good...

Cars Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie (3/5/2007)

The kiddie hit of the year, this film is not as good as many other Pixar classics like 'A Toy Story', 'A Bug's Life' or 'The Incredibles'. Yet it has beautiful visuals and a few laughs with a solid cast led by Owen Wilson, Paul Newman and Bonnie Hunt. As much as I hate to admit it, much of the film is stolen by Larry the...

Cars Movie Review by Zara (1/30/2007)

Pixar, whether trying to cater more to boys with this feature or not, lost me with CARS. There were vocal performances that I did enjoy, including George Carlin as the spaced out hippie VW van, but for the most part, I just couldn't relate to the idea of cars falling in love. Hey, it's hard enough to swallow with toys and...

Cars Movie Review by Melanie (1/30/2007)

Right now, this is my oldest son's favorite movie. To any parents, you know how many times this means I have seen this movie. To those of you who are not blessed with the little angels/demons I am refering to, this means that I see the movie at least once a day, if not continuously.

As many times as I have seen this...

Cars Movie Review by karen (10/25/2006)

This move was AWESOME! I loved it. I've seen probably all the animated cartoonish movies and this is with no doubt the best and my favorite!
The music, the graphics, the sound, all great. Even now when I hear Rascal Flatts sound I think of the movie. I cant wait to own it. My kids even loved it.
