Kinky Boots (2006)
Charlie Price faces the impending shut down of the Northampton shoe factory that his family has owned and operated for generations. Just when he feels that all is lost, he has a chance encounter with Lola, a flamboyant transvestite cabaret star. This quirky little film would be entirely enjoyable on its own. The story of the man who was not adept at his family business inheriting and saving the day with the assistance of the transvestite/drag queen, and winning the girl would be enough to satisfy the most ardent movie goer.
