Take the Lead (2006)
Inspired by a true story, Antonio Banderas stars as internationally acclaimed ballroom dancer Pierre Dulane in the family drama "Take the Lead". The film revolves around a professional dancer who volunteers to teach in the New York City public school system. So its another inspiring teacher story. That doesn't mean its not a good story to tell. This was inspired by a true story which makes me like it more and since the first dance program, more ballroom dancing programs have been started in schools. Arts in the schools: Hooray!

This is going to be my first review, so please be kind...I had a free afternoon and went to our local mall and this movie just kind of hit me. I love dance movies and this just was a great way to spend an afternoon. Antonio Banderas was wonderful & HOT and just watching him dance was amazing. Going from ballroom dancing...

I wasn't so sure I'd be into seeing this movie when my friends asked me but I absolutely fell in love with it. The dancing was incredible, the ballroom and the hiphop. All the actors were great and the only regret I have is that they didn't go into more detail about each character's homelife. It was pretty cool considering...
