There is something fairly inane about this movie which bugs the crap out of me. The characters of the two former crushes, played by John Goodman and Camryn Manheim are clearly no where near the same age. He's within the age of the timeframe explained in the movie - she is not. I wonder if there is someone in Hollywood whose job is to determine "Okay, I think we are going to make 'Ballroom Dancing' the next big thing." How else can we explain the sometimes inexplicable shifts in Hollywood?
