Underworld: Evolution 2006
The sequel to the $100 million worldwide hit, "Underworld: Evolution" continues the saga of war between the aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). The film traces the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as Selene, the beautiful vampire heroine, and Michael, the lycan hybrid, try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. I, personally, don't understand the criticism of the first Underworld movie. As I saw it, Underworld (2003) took the best things from vampires - which over the years atrophied from goofy coat-and-tails-with-top-hat weenies into over-sexed, emotionally crippled, misunderstood, tragic androgynous hipsters - and werewolves...

How can you watch Underworld and not follow up with this movie? Will Selene and Michael Corvin make a child together? What about Marcus? Will he now rise from the grave after the death of Viktor? Will they get Kraven? What part will Erika play? I needed answers to my questions and i could not give up with just the first...

This movie is not for those who have not seen or disliked the original. After a short flashback to the middle ages it picks up right where Underworld left off.
