BloodRayne (2005)

A half-human, half vampire sets out to destroy her vampire king father in this Gothic horror film based on the video game. Bloodthirsty Lord Kagan (Ben Kingsley) wants his daughter to become a full-fledged vampiress, but fanged femme fatale Rayne (Kristanna Loken) denounces her father's legacy and instead joins up with a trio of vampire hunters (Michael Madsen, Michelle Rodriguez and Matt Davis). Billy Zane and Udo Kier co-star.

I can understand how people would have rated this movie very low. The bad things can look horrific with too ambitious of an eye. But when you look at it with a little bit of tongue in cheek and a skewed sense of humour, the movie is good enough for a few laughs.

Uwe Boll is definitely not the greatest director in the world. In fact, he may be the worst. I have been a big fan of the games since the first one was released. I had high hopes for this film being good but I guess I was way off when I was thinking about that. From the director of the wretched House of The Dead brings us...

I have never played the video game which this movie is based on and after watching the movie...i probably never WILL watch it. Aside from the very intense and sultry sex scene which the lovely Kristanna Loken portrays on teh screen there is not a good thing that I can find in this movie. It is right up there with bad...
