I just didn't get it. I have no idea why Greg McLean was so celebrated as a writer and director on this Austrailian film.
I can see when Quenton Tarantino thinks John Jarratt is one of the finest stars out of Austrailia, as he did a great job in his role, but that is all there was to the movie.
Face it, the bulk of this...

"Wolf Creek" is a horror film that loses its otuch mainly because all of the "horror" or suspense is within the final reel of the film. My problem is that nothing really builds up to the end, and you have to admit this plot has been done before.

The reason I rented this movie was two fold. One - Quentin Tarantino gave it high marks and he's awesome. Two - I needed a 50 cent movie to even up my total at Family Video(I can be a little OCD).
I wasn't really expecting anything great or even good from Wolf Creek, but I was surprised. It's not quite the horror classic...
