  Walk the Line (2005)

He was a voice of rebellion that changed the face of rock and roll. An outlaw before today's rebels were born - and an icon no one would ever forget. He did all this before turning 30. And his name was Johnny Cash. WALK THE LINE explores the early years of the music legend, an artist who transcended musical boundaries to touch people around the globe.

Walk the Line Movie Review by Zara (12/27/2008)

I hate to say it, because I wasn't expecting it to be, but this movie is dull. You think you're going to get a rich and full bio-pic of the seemingly illusive Johnny Cash and instead you get a glossed over version of what his life was like during a certain portion of it. You have moments that you don't clearly understand...

Walk the Line Movie Review by Tim (1/26/2007)

Walk the Line was the biggest surprise for me that a film has given me in a long time. When I say surprised I mean imagine you walk in your house and your husband whom you have children with is having an affair on your bed with another man.......yea that look of surprise was the same look my face expressed while the...

Walk the Line Movie Review by AJ (4/14/2006)

While not as electrifying as it was in a darkened movie theater on a huge canvas, Walk the Line is just as good on the small screen. Mangold's stirring biopic may be marred by some inevitable Hollywood conventions (the early childhood sequences are a bit questionable), but it's still much more successful than 2004's Ray....

Walk the Line Movie Review by Max (4/7/2006)

Joaquin Phoenix gives a strong performance as Johnny Cash, but with a story that just drags a long, we're lucky to have any music at all. Walk The Line is like waiting in a doctors office, sitting there for a long time, with a lot of other people who are awkwardly waiting for something, anything to happen. With Jamie Foxx...

Walk the Line Movie Review by Justin (4/3/2006)

A sharp, sturdy, unassuming sense of direction makes this biopic snap. James Mangold and Gill Dennis work to keep us involved at the emotional level, a point that is helped along perhaps because the film is based on the Man in Black's very own writings. The lingering spirituality doesn't come off as reaching or 'stuffed...
