Land of the Dead (2005)
description written by member Tim:
George A. Romero's Land of the Dead is another addition to the "Living Dead" franchise. This time just like animals, even zombies evolve and become smarter. The human population has divided into two groups, the wealth and the poor. The wealthy hide in a state of the art set of condos with full protection and every amenity possible. The poor live on the streets where drugs, prostitution and hunger follows. Follow a man on a journey to get away from the city and find peace away from what he thinks the true enemy is.

Earlier this year, we were treated to a low budget zombie called "Undead", and now the man who invented the genre of zombie movies George A. Romero returns for his 4th installment of his zombie movies,...

Tradition can mean different things to different people. For example, what would St. Patrick's Day be without corn beef and cabbage (and 30 pints of Guinness--or is that just me)? Or what about Christmas without Santa Claus? While customs such as these are generally upheld by those who celebrate them, other traditions are...

'George Romero's Land of the Dead' shows the definitve return of the master horror director after 20 years, in which he took a massive break from the series after doing Day of the Dead in 1985. 'Land of the Dead' breaks through the survival aspect of it all though, and this time looks more towards humans fighting back at...

Here there be massive spoilers for Land of the Dead.
Okay, I loved it. It got off to a rocky start, but picked up speed along the way. This is definitely the softest touch of all the Dead films, and that is not to it's detriment, in my opinion. Whereas the other films were simply about survival, this one went for...
