The Ring Two (2005)
Rachel Keller and her son Aidan have relocated to the quaint mountain town of Asheville, where Rachel has found a new job at the local Asheville Gazette, working alongside reporter Max Rourke. The discovery of a local teenage homicide whilst scanning the electronic Asheville Police archives prompts Rachel to uncover the truth behind it. Before long, Rachel has linked the homicide to the mysterious video tape. (read more)

I had to watch this after Furnace to see Kelly Stables as the Evil Samara. Hideo Nakata (Ringu, Ringu 2) directed Naomi Watts (King Kong, 21 Grams) and Simon Baker ("The Guardian", The Devil Wears Prada) in this thriller as a mother tries to solve the riddle of what is possessing her baby.

Proof that one movie is enough...
Sadly I greatly anticipated this movie for some time, ever since I heard it was being done. I was such a fan of the original, and since I heard that the man who directed the original "Ringu" in Japan was directing this movie, I expected a lot.
I was let down considerably.
