The Pacifier (2005)
description written by member Zara:
Vin Diesel redefines what it means to be an action hero in the heartwarming family action-comedy "The Pacifier." Diesel stars as Navy SEAL Shane Wolfe who, as an elite member of the world's fiercest and most highly trained force thought he was prepared to take on any duty no matter how perilous or impossible... until he tried baby-sitting. Assigned to protect the five out-of-control children of an assassinated scientist working on vital government secrets, Shane is suddenly faced with the juggling two outrageously incompatible jobs: fighting the bad guys while keeping house.

For those of us who are not females who go to see a movie just because Vin Diesel is in it, this one is actually kind of cute and kind of funny, kind of amusing and worth seeing. It is not the best movie ever, but it is pretty cute and funny, and Vin is pretty good as the surogate nanny/babysitter Navy Seal, who must...

Vin Diesel in "The Pacifier" or "The Vindergarten Cop" as I like to call it. Sure, it's a well trod path: fish out of water leading a pack of kids a la "Kindergarten Cop", "Major Payne", "Uncle Buck", but I'm a Vin Diesel fan damn it, and sometimes a dumb comedy is just right. Unfortunately, "The Pacifier" isn't that...

What a truely awful film.
Vin Diesel proves why he is one of the worst working actors in Hollywood today. At first I thought his delivery was part of the joke...but as the movie progresses, you realize that it's not actually a joke. He's serious. He's unintentionally funny.
The plot for this movie just atrocious and...
