Finding Neverland (2004)
Director Marc Forster's follow-up to "Monster's Ball" is "Finding Neverland," a tale of magic and fantasy inspired by the life of James Barrie, the real-life author of the children's classic Peter Pan. Set in London in 1904, the film follows Barrie's creative journey to bring Peter Pan to life, from his first inspiration for the story up until the play's premiere at the Duke of York's Theatre - a night that will change not only Barrie's own life, but the lives of everyone close to him. I am in a Johnny Depp mood at the moment. Three in a row according to my current schedule.
How could I have missed this film that was nominated for over 70 awards, winning 17, including an Oscar? Well, I fixed that today.
Was there supposed to be something salacious going on between Sir James Matthew Barrie (Johnny Depp)...

I have not felt this way about a movie since I watched "Chicago" in 2002. After leaving the theater all I can think about is Oscars, Oscars, Oscars for everyone! In "Finding Neverland," the directing was superb, the acting was spectacular and the technical aspects were flawless. While I'm here to talk about my movie...
