Waiting (2005)
A waiter for four years since high school, Dean has never questioned his job at Shenanigan's. But when he learns that Chett, a high school classmate, now has a lucrative career in electrical engineering, he's thrown into turmoil about his dead-end life. Dean's friend Monty is in exactly the same boat, but he couldn't care less. More concerned with partying and getting laid by underage girls, Monty is put in charge of training Mitch, a shy new employee. Over the course of one chaotic shift, Mitch gets to know the rest of Shenanigan's quirky staff: Monty's tough-talking ex-girlfriend, Serena, Shenanigan's over-zealous manager, Dan, and head cook Raddimus, who's obsessed with a senseless staff-wide competition known only as "The Game"

Keep in mind as I write this review, I did not pay for this movie, I did not want to see this movie, and am regretting the decision to see this movie, even though it was free. My friend who shall remain nameless had 20 dollars in movie gift cards. He wanted to see a movie and so did I. Sadly, he had the gift cards, so he...

"Waiting..." is destined to become a cult classic. Sure, it's crude and vulgar, but it's damn funny. And for anyone who has ever worked in the food service industry, the movie provides a sort of therapeutic release. The film manages to be realistic while wacky, and the protagonist faces a dilemma of real consequence:...

If you have ever worked in a restaurant, you can truly understand the frustrations and anger that come with serving others. This disgusting elements of the this film are pretty far-fetched and I really didn't...

Never, ever, ever again will I send any food back to the cooks in a restaurant.
"Waiting," altough it is crude, disgusting, and downright degrading...is hilarious! It had me laughing so hard I was crying!
Written and directed by first-time director Rob McKittrick, "Waiting" is a movie about what happens to the waiters,...
