Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (2005)
Corpse Bride carries on in the dark, romantic tradition of Tim Burton's classic films Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion, animated feature follows the story of Victor, a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham-Carter), while his real bride, Victoria (Emily Watson), waits bereft in the land of the living. Though life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love. It's a tale of optimism, romance and a very lively afterlife, told in classic Tim Burton style. (read more)

Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a classic. I think we can all agree on that. Directed by Henry Selick, who would also work with Burton on "James and the Giant Peach", "Nightmare" is a delightful mix of stop-motion animation, comedy, songs and Tim Burton's warped view of the world and holidays in...

I really love tim burtons work. I find him to be a wonderful writer and director. The plot of this story to me is brilliant and i love it. I feel bad for both women in this movie when they see him with the other. I feel really bad for him considering he is stuck in the middle =( the end choice that the dead one helps him...
