Just Like Heaven 2005

When David sublets his quaint San Francisco apartment, the last thing he expected -- or wanted -- was a roommate. He had only begun to make a complete mess of the place when a pretty young woman named Elizabeth suddenly shows up, adamantly insisting the apartment is hers. David assumes there's been a giant misunderstanding...until Elizabeth disappears as mysteriously as she appeared. Changing the locks does nothing to deter Elizabeth, who begins to appear and disappear at will -- mostly to rebuke David for his personal living habits in her apartment. Convinced that she is a ghost, David tries to help Elizabeth cross over to the "other side." (read more)

Just Like Heaven Movie Review by Richard (8/15/2007)

I just watched this movie this morning. It is true that this is not an original idea, but this movie was really good, even if it was predictable. Let me 'splain for joo...

I have never really liked Reese Witherspoon. Dainty little women who are too cute and give off that "good girl does no evil vibe" have always annoyed...

It is a cool idea, that has been done better before.

Comas, ghosts, love, really cool apartments in San Fran...no go.

Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon have almost no chemistry. The plot and script are totally lame. This movie is not worth your time.

I like each of these actors as individuals, just not together. ...

Just Like Heaven Movie Review by Zara (3/10/2007)

I like Reese Witherspoon. I also like Mark Ruffalo. It's too bad that the movie couldn't be more than just a mediocre one.

A man who loses his wife and a woman who spends too much time working at the hospital have their lives crossed when the woman gets into a car accident and her apartment is rented out while she's in a...

Just Like Heaven Movie Review by Tony (4/7/2006)

he price of originality seems to be raising in Hollywood to an alarming volume. It also appears as if a machine is processing the scripts from past scripts, movies, and formulas. When people want a quick pay check and don't want to work to get out a good script, click the machine, and they'll give you one, all you gotta do...

Just Like Heaven Movie Review by Matthew (9/21/2005)

"It's a Wonderful Afterlife".

Remember that tag line. We'll discuss it later.

Elizabeth (Reese Witherspoon), an intern at a prestigious San Francisco hospital, works around the clock, taking on any patient, in an effort to win a coveted staff position at the institution. Driving home one rainy night, she gets into an...
