A Sound of Thunder (2005)

Gamer Travis Ryer (Ed Burns) chases the ultimate thrill -- hunting dinosaurs -- by turning back the clock with the help of a time-travel outfitter run by Charles Hatton (Ben Kingsley). But after unwittingly destroying a butterfly-like creature, Ryer finds his game going horribly awry, leaving him stranded in a prehistoric past that promises to erase all hopes of a future. Can he undo the damage he's unleashed? Or is the world doomed to end?

This attempt on Bradbury's short story began with a solid idea, but the outcome was probably less than what they expected. The film is cast well, but is mired by somewhat dull writing and cheesy special effects at some parts during the movie.
Time travel has always been a thing of science fiction but the rules for time...

Last year I saw a tiny little bit of this movie and it looked interesting. Now I've seen the whole thing. It was just the next movie in my collection that needed watching, nothing more. I was surprised when I realized this was the same movie I was glimpsed last summer. I was even more surprised by how bad it was.
