9 Songs (2005)
"9 Songs" is a cinema-verite love story, a tale of two lovers who go to indie rock concerts and well... have a lot of kinky sex. Cut together with actual concert footage and real sex melded together as the memories of the protagonist, while he flies over the Arctic on an expedition. There's a gimmick to this movie which doesn't work on me. It's the fact that it's a movie which features real, hardcore sex with close ups like a porn movie, but tries to make itself into art by interspersing the hardcore material with crappy Eurotrash music.

So can pornography be art? Not really, if this film is anything to go by. I couldn't give anything away even if I tried. A couple meet, have sex, go to a few gigs, then have more sex.
