Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005)

An action packed story of a bored and near failing marriage which is turned around when the wife and husband realize that they are both international assassins employed by different firms. Now both have been ordered to take their spouse out of the picture and it is a race to see who can win. Starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie which add an extra flair of sexiness to the film.

Non one would ever suggest that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did not have chemistry. It was there all over the movie, just as it is in their lives.
One would think that, and the explosive action would be enough to make this a good film, rather than just OK. It's not.

"Mr. & Mrs. Smith" is, by far, the most fun I had at the cinemas in 2005!

What a difference a little tabloid fodder makes! Generally, when I attend the first weekend matinee of a film in Santa Monica, the theater is virtually empty. Maybe half dozen people. This Saturday, when I went to see “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, the theater was probably more than half full. I think a lot of people were interested...

You may well have entered into this theatre with some preconcieved notions a la 'Gigli', well my friend put those thoughts to rest because this is far more 'War of the Roses' if anything. 'Smith' is a film about what truly happens in a dishonest marriage, no matter what you are lying about and how two people can find a way...
