The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2005

description written by member Zara:

The movie is based on the young adult book, The Secret Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, by Anne Brashares. As four best friends spend their first summer apart from one another, they share a magical pair of jeans. Despite being of various shapes and sizes, each one of them fits perfectly into the pants. To keep in touch they pass these pants to each other as well as the adventures they are going through while apart.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Movie Review by Lisa (7/10/2009)

Motherhood has granted me with the ability to tolerate and enjoy some of the sappier chick flicks, but as much as I tried I could not get through this one without feeling the chunks rise in my throat.

The movie follows 4 friends as they go their separate ways for the summer filled with PG13 exploits. They keep in touch...

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Movie Review by Zara (3/10/2007)

This was one of those sappy looking movies about young women and the stupid sh*t that they have to go through. My mom insisted on getting it, having fallen in love with America Ferrera after seeing her in REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES. Since that movie didn't impress me as much as it seemed with everyone else, I was hesitant. I...

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Movie Review by AJ (6/25/2006)

Based on Ann Brashares' popular teen chick lit book, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants comes as a slap in the face to all of the other soggy girly-girl movies Hollywood has been pumping out lately. This is a movie where not everything goes right, happy conclusions are not reached, bad decisions are made, and the...

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Movie Review by Tony (3/31/2006)

I first saw "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" last June a few days after it's wide release not expecting much. In 2004, we were shown such teenage flicks as "Sleepover" and "Raise Your Voice", which basically stated that all teenagers are shallow, boring, uninteresting, rude, and dumb. It did not say much for the...
