  Kicking and Screaming (2005)

Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall star in a lively comedy about the cutthroat, hyper-competitive world of little league soccer. Ferrell stars as Phil Weston, an average Joe who's had to put up all his life with his overly competitive father, Buck. When Phil decides to coach his 10-year-old son's soccer team, he goes head-to-head for the league championship against Buck, who coaches his own young son on the preeminent team of the league. Old scores come into play as Phil and Buck find themselves going to extreme measures to win the championship trophy. (read more)

This isn't to say that Ferrell is only good in small doses--he was the funniest cast...

Kicking and Screaming Movie Review by Corey (5/12/2005)

If Will Ferrell quit the business tomorrow, his place within the hipster pop culture pantheon would be secure. With roles like OLD SCHOOL'S Frank The Tank and his better Saturday Night Live bits, Ferrell has made his mark playing the "man-child:" a character whose faux cool exterior hides a fragile (and funny) tyke inside...

Kicking and Screaming Movie Review by Movie Addict (3/28/2007)

I was studying films of a particular genre and this was listed as an example. Well, the title was right, but the year was wrong. I suffered through Will Ferrel for nothing. The only other time that I suffered through him was to see Nicole Kidman in Bewitched. As a matter of interest he was nominated for a Razzie for worst...

Kicking and Screaming Movie Review by Chad (5/28/2005)

This movie was something sort of unexpected.

I am a big Will Ferrel fan, but I know that if the writing isn't up to par (his recent appearance on SNL is an example) he's just...pretty bad. This applys to 'Kicking & Screaming'.

I went into this movie only because someone else was paying for it, mainly because I really...
