Sahara (2005)

I read Clive Cussler's NUMA stories a long time ago. I quit when Dirk Pitt retired. I knew Dirk Pitt, and Matthew McConaughey is no Dirk Pitt! I like Penélope Cruz, and she made a great WHO doctor. I think Matthew McConaughey might have to be next on the hit list (though it's too late to prevent Failure to Launch). This movie is funny when it's not meant to be and lame when it is. Steve Zahn's character has the worst catch phrase I've ever heard in a movie, and he says it a lot. Horrible, formulaic garbage.
