Sin City Movie Review by Zara (3/31/2007)

What can I say about this movie that hasn't been said in the 23 other previous reviews posted? Considering that I haven't read any of those other reviews, I'm not sure what the answer to that question is. So I'll just list my favorite highlights.

* I like Josh Hartnett. I think it was cool that he was cast as a dark...

Sin City Movie Review by James (6/14/2006)

I love this movie. OOOOOH do I ever. From the acting to the directing to the writing to the everything.

It's film-noir, no it's a thriller, no it's a goresploitation flick! NO. It's comic book movie. And it is wondrous. Mickey Rourke is amazing, Bruce Willis is subtle and shows us once again that he is more than...

It's an exercise in style that...

It is a film that levels us with its visual ingenuity and staggering dramatic qualities. 'Sin City' is a fully realized universe, rich in texture and complete in its suggestion of the...

Sin City Movie Review by Sheryl (4/14/2005)

Meh.

Visual appeal just wasn't enough for me. Don't get me wrong, it was visually very, very cool. But it wasn’t enough. The plot didn't tie together as I would have liked, and the violence (albeit stylized) was just a little too much for my virgin eyes.

So in the end, it was worth seeing, but you're not going to get me...
