Cursed (2005)
It is a moonlit night in Los Angeles, when something lurking in the shadows causes their car to suddenly swerve off the road, a teenaged brother and his career-driven sister emerge relatively unscathed, but forever changed by the accident. Suddenly, the siblings find themselves blessed with increased physical strength, heightened sensibilities and undeniable allure to everyone around them. But, what if what happened to them that night wasn't just an accident and what seemed like fate was really something more? It is only a matter of time before Ellie and Jimmy can no longer control these impulses because their newfound power comes with a price that they never expected to pay and a mystery that only they can solve. There are some 'spoilers', as to talk about this movie's retardation it is required to give up some of the, um, secrets.
I'm not quite sure what the point is to make a movie - marketed as a horror - that is funny as hell (sometimes not on purpose), lights all the sets like a sit-com, and has junior high dialog as well as...

Big whoop! This was a real disappointment for a werewolf film. Safe sex? There was NO sex. I mean the beast can tear a woman in half, but she still keeps her top. The lovely Mya (Chicago) was attacked, wasn't she? We wouldn't know because we didn't see. And, this was the "Unrated" version.

It was alright but.. more of a comedy than a horror movie. Some of the scenes were cool.. and some were noticeably fake. It was an entertaining 96 minutes. If you want a laugh and a few scary moments, it's the right movie for you.

When seeing the trailer for this movie, i hoped that like other wes craven movies it would be a blood drenched horror film. However, the blood was relatively light and themovie was more humorous at the end while the earlier parts did build tension so that the littlest thing would make you jump. Christina Ricci, as always...
