Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Two years have passed, and the mild-mannered Peter Parker faces new challenges as he struggles with "the gift and the curse," desperately trying to balance his dual identities as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man and his life as a college student. Tormented by his secrets, Peter finds that his relationships with all those he holds dear are in danger of unraveling. His life-long yearning for M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) becomes even stronger as he fights the impulse to reveal his secret life and declare his love. His friendship with Harry Osborn (James Franco) is complicated by the young Osborn's bitterness over his father's death and his growing vendetta against Spider-Man. Even Peter's beloved Aunt May (Rosemary Harris), who has fallen on hard times after the death of Uncle Ben, begins to have doubts about her nephew. (read more)

I've made a lot of mention about how much I hated the first movie (lousy dialogue, incredibly poor acting, melodrama and a story change to the comic book that was crappy - he's supposed to date Gwen Stacy first and drop her to her death, that's far more interesting) and how much the third movie was horrible but at least...

This time around we get even more character development from the first film as Peter begins to decide his fate. Theres more action, better special effects and a...

It's been two years since Peter Parker (Maguire) transformed into Spider-Man, and he is still trying to balance life perfectly. His love for Mary Jane (Dunst) is becoming much stronger, as he finds it hard to not let her down. His friendship with Harry Osborn (Franco) is at risk, as the young Harry is frustrated with...

The action is sometimes a little bit creepy and stylized....but good. There are a lot of emotional scenes in here which will probably make your eye twitch from...
