Ocean's Twelve (2004)
Danny Ocean, reignited flame Tess and the rest of a band of thieves and con men, team up for another three huge heists, but this time they're in three different locations - Rome, Paris and Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, the prize is Rembrandt's "De Nachtwacht" painting, which resides at the Rijksmuseum. Meanwhile, casino owner Terry Benedict, whom Ocean and crew ripped off in Las Vegas, is hot on their tail, looking for revenge. (read more)

Once again I struggle with Matchflick's rating system. Because this movie is definitely a 3 1/2 stars.
Ocean's Twelve is... not Ocean's Eleven. It's fun, it's witty, and it's got style, but it lacks a little oomph.
For me, I think the problem was that "the heist" is a traditional movie style, which should have a...

With the amount of love I have for "Ocean's Eleven," it would be hard to top it with a sequel. That proved to be correct, but does not mean this was a bad film.

I was disappointed with a couple of things though. Bernie Mac. Was he ACTUALLY in it? I THOUGHT I saw him. For all of 10 minutes, TOTAL!That kinda goes for the rest of the cast too. It should have been Ocean's 5! The Damon, Clooney, Roberts, Zeta-Jones-Douglas & Pitt Show

The dreaded sequel to an awesome movie that was summed up by one word, "cool." That's what Ocean't Eleven was, it wasn't the greatest movie ever, but it wasn't garbage. It was simply cool, with all it's characters, plot, and dialogue. Now the studio wants to cash in on how cool it was by trying to make an even cooler...
