Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)
A deadly virus has been unleashed on the population of Raccoon City. "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" is a terrifying adventure in survival horror. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice, one of only two survivors of the contained biochemical disaster in the first "Resident Evil." The film begins where the first film left off, with Alice in the heart of the ravaged and deadly Raccoon City. She has been subjected to biogenetic experimentation by the vast Umbrella Corporation and become genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive. (read more)

I am going out on a limb here and rating the sequel better than the original. I do that because it had way more zombie action and a lot less sci-fi. Sorry, gamers, but I want a movie, not a game.
Alexander Witt had scads of experience as a second unit director and cameraman, and did a decent job in his directorial debut....

Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse is reminiscent of some of the all time great porn movies; it's resplendent with horrible acting, nonexistent character development, poorly thought out story, and big bang money shots with half-naked women at the center that serves little more purpose than masturbation material for video game...

I had big hopes for this movie. The trailer made it look like it was going to be absoulutely amazing. This is the sequel to RE, a fairly good horror adaptation. I believe that RE: Apocalypse has taken the franchise and crushed it under its foot. This film is absoulutely horrible. First it has nothing to do with the game,...
