Before Sunset (2004)
When Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) met on a Eurail train, the connection between them was immediate and profound. The 14-hour relationship that followed, as the pair explored the spontaneous and unexpected in Vienna, ended on a train platform where they swore they'd meet again six months later.
Nine years have passed since that morning.

To me, this is easily the most romantic film of 2004, but it certainly helps if you fell in love with these characters ten years ago in Before Sunrise, as I did. Still, I think this film stands on its own as a short, somewhat bittersweet study of the effect time has on human relationships.

I like Ethan Hawke.. and thought this movie would be good but.. I was wrong. I guess it was good to make a second one.. but I not having seen the first (Before Sunrise) didn't make this interesting, at all. All they did was talk, walk, talk, walk.. on and on. The ending wasn't much of one. I've heard that Before Sunrise...
