Based on the television show of the same name, two mismatched cops get paired together when no one else will work with them. One is extremely laid back and one is extremely uptight. They end up working together to nail a big time drug dealer.

Again, one of my favorite portions of a movie has everything to do with Jason Bateman. Largely forgotten for having been in this film because the film was largely forgettable, Bateman scores as the corrupt lawyer working for Vaughn's gangster.
I didn't watch the show growing up but from what I've heard, while Snoop Dogg...

There are parts of this that are actually funny, pretty much all of those moments have to do with homosexual undertones between the title characters.
However the rest of the movie is a slapped together attempt at being post-ironic.
It tries too hard and yet doesn't try hard enough with a movie idea that was better left...
