OK, it is not possible to freeze overnight like this, but if we keep

Roland Emmerich has yet to prove much to Hollywood or the whole of the moviegoing community except for that the man likes his violence and can blow up a heck of a lot of stuff without cohering to any sort of logical storyline or fleshed-out cannon fodd...um, characters.

So, 'Does he, or, Doesn't he?'.....That is the question.
In the good old days, 'To be, or, Not to be'......That was the question. (as goofy as it was)
But, now I wanna know 'Does he, or, Doesn't he?', meaning, Does Director, Roland Emmerich, love New York City, or does he loath it? If my math is correct up to this point...

The Day After Tomorrow is an end of the world film. Where scientists try to tell the US that the world is going to end soon, very soon. Roland Emmerich (Beowulf) gives us a film with big special effects, but with barely a story.
