Hulk (2003)

The classic Marvel comic book The Incredible Hulk makes its big-screen debut under the imaginative direction of Ang Lee. Research scientist Dr. Bruce Banner's (Eric Bana) failed experiments cause him to mutate into a powerful and savage green-skinned hulk whenever he loses control of his emotions. And the only person who seems to stand by him is his girlfriend, Betty Ross (Jennifer Connelly), proving that love is indeed blind.

..... you wouldn't like me when I review movies. Okay this is my first official review here and with the impending production of the second Incredible Hulk movie I figured, what better time then now right? Well I am doing it anyway. My first reaction to this film is "True fans are either going to love this or hate it....

It's become something of a pastime to hate on this big-screen comic book blowup. But truth is, it's the best stylized of 'em all. Its shot and edited in a way that perfectly lifts the mode of pop art right from the pages of the book. In bringing the not-so-jolly green giant to life, the makers utilize digital imagery...

Comic book adaptations are notoriously hard to pull of on the silver screen, especially if it involves super heroes.
