Professional wrestling star the Rock, who was such a lump of flesh in The Scorpion King, proves surprisingly light on his feet in The Rundown, demonstrating charm and humor as well as the requisite toughness. Most women enjoy the thick, bulkiness of The Rock's physique. I actually like the man's determination. You can practically smell it radiating off of the screen when you watch this movie, his desire for people to like him and take him seriously as an actor. It's part of the reason why this movie works so well.
