Old School (2003)

When three thirtysomething friends with woman troubles (Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, and Vince Vaughn) decide to form a fraternity, it's supposedly to save Wilson from losing his house, which the nearby college is trying to claim for academic purposes. Will someone please explain to me why this movie is such a favorite? The jokes are flat, the movie doesn't reach the offensive nudity level that it aspires to think it does (trying to be some new age PORKY'S) and the actors all looked pained for having to be in the film.

The great Frat Pack comedy that began this whole crazy Ferrell-Wilson-Vaughn-Carell-Black express train that will not relent...and thank goodness.
This is a really funny movie about all the things you think are so great in college that actually turn out to be pretty empty and meaningless.
