In the Cut (2003)
From Amazon:
Based on Susanna Moore's popular novel, In the Cut centers on Frannie (Meg Ryan), an emotionally stifled English teacher who gets steamy with sultry Malloy (Mark Ruffalo, You Can Count On Me), a cop who's investigating a series of brutal murders--but Frannie soon suspects that Malloy may be the killer. Rather than focus on Meg Ryan and how she gets nude and allows herself to be sexually degraded, let's get into Mark Ruffalo. The best thing about a dank movie, he's that cop who looks suspicious and yet you still want to f*ck him anyway.

Horrible movie. That stared to great talents Meg Ryan and Mark Ruffalo. It had horrible writing. The plot was stupid. It make me wonder what Meg Ryan was thinking making this movie. Was she try to get out of that "good girl" role, this was not the picture to do it.
