Kate Hudson twinkles as the heroine of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, a magazine writer assigned to date a guy, make all the mistakes girls make that drive guys away (being clingy, talking in baby-talk, etc.), and record the process like a sociological experiment. However, the guy she picks--rangy Matthew McConaughey--is an advertising executive who's just bet that he can make a woman fall in love with him in ten days; if he succeeds, he'll win a huge account that will make his career. I like this movie. It follows every stupid gender specific stereotype that's ever been uttered or written down in a lame woman's magazine. The characters are bright and shiny and annoying. I don't know if it was the chemicals in their teeth-whitening toothpaste that dazzled me, but dammit... I like this film.

I found it was really awesome. I love Kate Hudson, and Matthew McConaughey. They are my two favorite actors, so obviously, I had to love it. LOL. But anyway, it was a very movie, which is why I currently own it on DVD. So I would pretty much recommend anyone who wants to have a few laughs, to watch it! :)

Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey channel Rock Hudson and Doris Day in a very fun chick flick. The movie does rely on just about all of the cliche's of the genre, but who cares? I don't really expect to see innovation in a romantic comedy. All that's required is chemistry between the lovers and some laughs along the way....
