I consider myself as jaded as the next film buff, but the emotional power of this film shocked even me at times. Ben Kingsley crafts a wonderfully complex character, and the screenplay and direction, as well as the rest of the cast, are all up to par with him.

this was a brilliant drama about human nature . unfortunately, it was soo depressing that i wanted to shoot myself or the characters . the story unwinds after awhile (which seems like a long time ) and you are left with this totally disturbing feeling, that makes you say ,"why did i want to see that ?"
