This movie was one of the many "returns to comedy" for Jim Carrey. The man keeps trying to stretch and the public keeps telling him that they want him to dance like the monkey that he is. That's got to be a depressing scenario.
Which is what the majority of this movie is. Jennifer Aniston barely registers above obnoxious...

This movie is my idea of cinematic perfection. Not that it was brilliantly artistic, but it was funny from beginning to end yet also very serious and thought-provoking.
