Big Fish (2003)

After a string of mediocre movies, director Tim Burton regains his footing as he shifts from macabre fairy tales to Southern tall tales. A very different film for Tim Burton, it still showcases the director's brilliant visual style. Albert Finney is great, as are the outrageous stories spun by his character, and the casting of the young actors in the flashback scenes is spot-on. A beautiful, funny and touching film.

This is simply an incredible film. I don't think any other movie has ever moved me on so many emotional levels. It's a beautiful story brought to life with fantastic cinematography and perfectly cast actors. The movie is filled with unforgettable characters, morals you'll implement in your own life, and the surreal imagery...
