You know I find that some of the most interesting stories in life are those of normal everyday occurrences. It isn't so much due to the content of said tales, but more based on the manner in which they are told. It is kind of like a joke told many times. Sure you might have heard it or get an idea of what the punch line...

This is Paul Giamatti's time to shine after years of years of supporting roles. He brings a loveable grouchiness and, at the same time, a fragile humanity to the role of comic book writer Harvey Pekar, in a film that is definitely one of the most innovative of 2003.
