It wasn't a huge success, despite having a large budget behind it and the star billing of Christian Bale and Matthew McConaughey- one suspicion is that the premise, that of the human race being systematically beaten back to near-extinct levels by dragons, was simply a little too much to swallow. Which is a shame, because...
