Lets face it the only reason this movie didn't go straight to DVD and subsequently the bargain bin at Wal-Mart, is due to the untimely demise of Aaliya and the morbid curiosity that took hold of the public (me included).
Stuart Townsend (although hot) just could not do the same job as Tom Cruise did in the other Anne Rice...

it was a waste of film!!! why did they even bother writing this steaming sack of sh*t?! it's hard to follow, has no real need for this girl thats running around everywhere, and really puts a big black spot in the list of vampire movies.

This movie has very few good qualaties to it. First it is based on an Anne Rice novel and I guarantee the book is far better than the movie. Interview with a Vampire movie adaption came much closer than THIS movie adaption. Stuart Townsend is okay and can capture Lestat's attitude fairly well but just not as well as Tom...
