Queen of the Damned 2002

From Amazon: It's her time. Her place. The wickedly regal Mother of All Vampires is ready again to rule! Aaliyah plays the title role in this stylish shocker based on Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles. Stuart Townsend portrays Lestat, the undead antihero previously seen in the movie version of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. This time, Lestat finds acceptance in a tattooed and pierced world. He's a rock star. And his intoxicating Goth-riffed sound rekindles the desires of all-powerful Akasha. (read more)

Stuart Townsend (although hot) just could not do the same job as Tom Cruise did in the other Anne Rice...

Queen of the Damned Movie Review by Kaitlyn (2/4/2007)

it was a waste of film!!! why did they even bother writing this steaming sack of sh*t?! it's hard to follow, has no real need for this girl thats running around everywhere, and really puts a big black spot in the list of vampire movies.

Queen of the Damned Movie Review by Jacob (2/3/2007)

This movie has very few good qualaties to it. First it is based on an Anne Rice novel and I guarantee the book is far better than the movie. Interview with a Vampire movie adaption came much closer than THIS movie adaption. Stuart Townsend is okay and can capture Lestat's attitude fairly well but just not as well as Tom...
